Reservation & Cancellation Policy
Reservation Policy
A 30% deposit of the total accommodation cost is required to secure your reservation. The minimum downpayment is two nights. Please contact us for our bank account details. You will be kindly asked to confirm your payment with us via email. Once the booking has been processed, you will receive a reservation confirmation e-mail with the summary of your booking. Please review the information carefully and contact us immediately at info@kastropolis.com if you have any questions or require any changes. Note: any postponement of the reservation payment will be treated as a cancellation.
Confirming your reservation with a bank transfer means you accept the terms of our cancellation policy. You are kindly asked to review our cancellation policy below.
Any changes to your reservation must be received no less than 30 days prior to your original arrival date via email, and changes are subject to availability.
After check in, accommodation balance has to be paid in full no later than two days before departure.
Balance is payable via bank transfer or in cash (Euros).
Please note: Check-in: 1:00pm, Check-out: 12:00pm
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are handled as follows:
Up to 30 days before arrival: no cancellation fees; will receive full refund of the deposit paid.
Between 29 and 15 days before arrival: will receive a 50% refund of the deposit paid or the option of a full credit, which is valid for one year from the cancellation date.
Between 14 and 7 days before arrival: will receive a 30% refund of deposit paid or the option of a full credit, which is valid for one year from the cancellation date.
Cancellations made 6 days and less before arrival will forfeit the deposit paid.
There are no refunds for “no shows”, arrival after the scheduled date and early check outs.
If the number of guests on your reservation is reduced once the reservation is paid, it is up to the hotel to determine applicable refunds.
We do not issue refunds for flight cancellations due to any circumstances whatsoever. Please take out travel insurance to protect against flight cancellations as well as any types of unforeseen events.
All refunds are subject to fees charged by banking institutions for the transaction processing.
Guest Conduct
Each room is limited to the number of guests registered in the room at the time of check in.
Children: parents and guardians are personally and legally responsible for children at all times.
Pets are not permitted in the interior of the hotel.
Damages: guests shall be responsible for the replacement / reinstatement of any items damaged through misuse or other act of abuse. This shall apply whether the damage was deliberate or accidental. The hotel will charge the credit card registered upon check-in for all damages and/or clean-up fees.
If a complaint occurs due to disorderly conduct or unlawful activities, the offending guests may be evicted and/or receive additional charges to their account. If guests are evicted, they are not entitled to any refund.
Liability
Kastropolis and its employees shall not liable for
loss of items; the hotel has no responsibility for items stored within the hotel property. The hotel will however take responsibility if damage or loss of any item is caused through negligence by the hotel.

Any delays or cancellations. In the event of a traveller becoming ill during a vacation, or having to cut their vacation short, all hospital and medical expenses are the traveller’s responsibility
Absence of travel documents, where required.
Force majeure: monetary crises, social / political unrest, labour problems, strikes, lockouts, electrical outages, acts of nature (weather conditions, earthquakes), flight cancellations or changes, threats or acts of terrorism, diseases or epidemics/pandemics, novel or unexpected conditions and local laws that are beyond the hotel’s reasonable control.
The hotel reserves the right to adjust the price for new taxes/fees, which are beyond the control of the hotel.
It is the responsibility of the guests or the organizer to ensure that everyone involved in the reservation is aware of above mentioned reservation, cancellation and guest conduct policies.
